But it turns out that they offer a very comprehensive modules from everyday online classes (recorded presentation and live zoom), one-to-one session, 1 day crash course and soooo many tests and 50 mock exams! To study from theory.com I bought mock exams + the video course (not live) and studied everyday for 2h after work, for 2.5 weeks! 🥳 Very happy with my choice.
I whole heartedly recommend this combination of products if you’re someone who CAN study on their own, as all the questions you don’t understand during the mock exams practice you GET EXPLAINED during the video course.
Important to mention, try to learn the values/numbers by heart (ex, the allowed lenght of cars, how many meters you can park from a crossing, etc). You have to introduce these numbers yourselves at the CBR exam, it’s not multiple choice! So make sure to study that hard.

Do, and I mean, do take the mock exams seriously, that was the most helpful in passing the theory.

I had Gosia for the 1 day theory course in Rotterdam. She was very clear and friendly. It is very tough to follow a course for a whole day but it was worth … More it. I would say you need a couple of weeks of self-study besides the course (if you’re only doing a few exercises per night after work) if you are already an experienced driver in another country but you need to refresh your memory. They sent a text the morning of my exam which is a nice touch.
For improvement, it would be nice to get a little more information about the venue of the course. I wasn’t able to buy a drink there with electronic payment. Although tea and coffee was provided, it was summer so warm drinks aren’t always pleasant. I was warned to bring lunch but cash was not mentioned. -

Do you book the theory exam?
No, always book the theory exam yourself via cbr.nl/en. Then you know for sure that you have an exam at the earliest day. It is arranged in a few minutes.
Beware: there are websites that promise a (faster) theory exam. That is not possible. You pay too much, get a theory exam at a different time (much later) than promised or never hear from them again.
Don’t get scammed!

Can you tell me more about the course?
We start at 10AM. The course is divided into eight subjects. There are breaks between the topics. We will be ready around 5:30 PM. There is always coffee and tea available for free.
You will receive additional study material from the theory teacher when you enter the course:

– Links to mobile apps
– Guide: ‘Get your driver’s license’
What is this online license?
The online license gives you access to our online theory platform. This contains 500 practise questions. You can use this before the course. After the course, this license gives you access to 50 exams. If you pass this online exams, you are 100% ready for the CBR Theory Exam.
